Description application ico

Mineral fibrous insulation material on the basis of glass with ECOSE® Technology, standardly supplied in slabs packed in packages containing several pieces. Coated with black glass-fibre non-woven fabric and recommended for use in soffits. Recommended application – ceilings and soffits.

Application: Ceilings and soffits

TP 440 with ECOSE® Technology is intended for application in soffits inside buildings as a noise absorbing filling. In perforated soffits the material is applied so that the black glass-fibre non-woven fabric that faces the interior in order to minimize the air flow and prevent dirt and impurities from penetrating into the insulation material. The material can be also applied in soffit grid constructions. Application is very simple and easy – individual slabs are simply laid endto- end into required part of construction. The correct arrangement of slabs is very important. If any spaces are left between the slabs the acoustic absorption capacity can significantly deteriorate.

Advantages

  • excellent thermal insulation properties
  • high fire resistance
  • good absorption of acoustic waves
  • simple and easy handling
  • benefits resulting from ECOSE® Technology:
  • softer feel
  • less dusty
  • odourless
  • easy to cut

Thermal conductivity coefficient λ = 0,034 W/mK
