What Is Climate Change?

'Climate Change' is the term used to describe the negative climatic impact of Global Warming on planet Earth. The accumulation of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere - mainly from our burning fossil fuels has led to increased temperatures which are quickly and dramatically altering Earth's weather patterns.

Even if we act today, it will take years, perhaps decades, for the accumulation of greenhouse gases to decrease and be absorbed by forests and oceans. It is expected that the effects of Climate Change will become worse before they get better.

Earth's climate has changed rapidly and especially over the last 10 years. Globally, the ten hottest years on record have all occurred since the beginning of the 1990s.

Contrary to popular belief, Global Warming and Climate Change do not improve our overall lifestyle – the effects are indisputably negative! We need to take action now and unless we do, our future is uncertain.

Climate Change is arguably the biggest threat mankind has ever faced.
